Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? (2013)

Introverted Weichung has been married to Feng for nine years. They have one son together, and Feng would like to have another child with him. One day Stephen, an old friend who now organises weddings, appears and encourages Weichung to return to the gay life he had previously. Anxious not to lose his wife, Weichung tentatively begins seeing a flight attendant behind Feng's back.

Very nicely observed, with lovely fantasy/imagination scenes that surprise and delight. This is a huge difference from your typical lame-ass, unfunny crowd-pleaser or self-indulgent arthouse Taiwanese movie. Arvin Chen is fast becoming my favourite Taiwanese writer/director.

A foreign movie that will win you over! Bravo to the cast and crew of this special film, part comedy and part drama about a shy married man named Weichung who begins to question his sexual orientation as he and his wife Feng consider having another child. At his sister's engagement party, Weichung bumps into an old friend, Stephen, a wedding photographer who is married to a lesbian and he is living the high life of a younger, single gay man. Personally I think life is worth living without lies and sham marriages so whether you are gay, straight, trans, just be true to yourself and live life in your own terms! Recommended and available on Netflix instant streaming!

the perfect antidote for the weekend. WYSLMT is more 'serious' film than Au Revoir Taipei, but the laughs aplenty prevented it from being too melodramatic. loved the karaoke scene, and lawrence ko is great, ain't he.
