The "inside" scoop on the lives of boys at a private school in Toronto. Guess what? They aren't that much different than boys that you encounter outside of private schools. Unfortunately, it makes this effort a tad bit boring.

If not revelatory, the film is consistently engrossing, a smartly edited sequence of scenes over the course of a couple of years that reveal the pangs of adolescence in the context of social privilege.

It's such a rich and complex environment, I found myself aching at times for a Jane Goodall to explain the behaviour the way she did the chimps at Gombe.
