As far as Boston-set crime thrillers go, this doesn't measure up to the Departed or Gone Baby Gone, but it's no Boondock Saints either.

Superbly acted by Ruffalo and Hawke,.Actually all the actors were way above par,.Directing and script could have been more polished though,.Movie suffers from alott of slow parts that could have been modified or deleted,.I do like this movie alott though

I'm a big Mark Ruffalo fan, but this was probably one of his weaker choices, he definitely can do better. That being said, it wasn't terrible, just passably mediocre like Pride and Glory.

I enjoyed this film its a true story about 2 best friends and there yrs growing up together involved in many crimes the acting is portrayed very well from everyone in the film and its made extremely well im recommending this film.

A great movie with avesome performances by Ruffalo and Hawke! I enjoyed it alot! The soundtrack is also very nice!
