Despite a decent central/dual performance the facts on which this prison drama are based ensure you're more appalled by the prison governor and his officers' casual indifference rather than the vicious racism of a young man with an extremely troubled mind.

While there are times when it almost sinks under the weight of its sense of dark anger and depression, it is Leeshon Alexander fine performance that keeps it from sinking under.
