Why was this received so poorly? A big, brash, dramatic and beautiful film that kept me interested and fascinated the whole way through.

Madonna's "W.E." is an artistic look at how the lives of those who made history often transcend time and have an everlasting effect on society. With the help of the brilliant Abel Korzeniowski and a show-stopping performance by Andrea Riseborough, "W.E" may not be a triumph, but definitely holds its ground.

"W.E." is not awful. It looks quite nice at times, and Riseborough delivers an exquisite if overdrawn performance as Wallis.
