The sensational footage of surfers barrelling through 50ft waves provides most of the appeal. But Joel Conroy's documentary is full of scrapbook curios.

Some quality footage, slightly dubious compilation but overall an entertaining watch. (dispute no mention of the pioneering Bodyboarders that have hit alot of the big slabs first.)
