Looks like the acting was done on the first take each scene. Seeing the a-shirt undershirts under their customs ruine the illusion. Those undershirts weren't worn for several decades. Seems like a high school play and didn't capture any feelings, besides for the music.

The movie did a somewhat good job of showing Disney's struggles but the wrong choice was wrapping up his rise to fame in 120 minutes

Knew it wasn?t for me when I realised who they had cast as Walt and Roy. I tried but just couldn?t watch the full film.

To put it plainly, Walt Before Mickey was surprisingly disappointing. The acting occasionally felt like high school plays and the script skips to a new plot line every time it gets close to an answer. This results in many instances of flashing forward and never knowing how Disney continues to magically keep his business afloat. In the end, I find that I never got the answers that I sat down to find out in this film. Instead, I received interesting tidbits and a rough draft with crucial points missing entirely.

Dumb retell of the history of one of the greatest figures in entertainment Walt Disney, why ruin that with a movie about his life that isn't even a lot about his own company. Well, it is but if I wanted to find more about Walt Disney's life , I would go to his museum in San Francisco.
