Zack Galifanakis plays a mid-level 'Visioneer' who starts to have dreams, which are a sign of an impending 'explosion.' After learning that one of his coworks exploded, he goes home to find out that over 100.000 People have exploded, Galifanakis starts to exhibit telltale signs of a looming explosion. He tries to live a non-explosive lifestyle, but he is impotent, binge eating, and depressed, all signs of a loom explosion. Good Cast, great, dark comedy, and superb direction and storyline

A well done film, with some jabs at pretty absurd humor which makes it good, but it is something that I fell has been done a lot before. The whole midlife crisis/everyone in their rut has been done before and this film puts it together well, but is just entertaining and not as deep or interesting as it would hope.

This movie snuck up on me and smacked me up the side of the head. Hilariously absurd deadpan humor meets great acting, a creative and novel plot, endearing characters, and a deep but odd story.

The movie was captivating and enjoyable to watch. The characters were strong and so was the plot. It was interesting to watch this alternate reality in which the only real difference is that people are exploding from unhappines. Elements of this film kept bringing my mind back to 1984 by George Orwell. Even though there are some key difference, there were many similarities. The only thing I would change about this film is its genre. This was not a comedy. This was a drama. Even though there were a few funny bits here and there, the overall tone and message of the film keep it from being a comedy.

A hilariously oddball dystopic satire that creates a wonderfully absurd universe more daring than most dare to venture nowadays. In some ways it can be compared to Gilliam's "Brazil" or a later Luis Bunuel film, but this one still has a mood all its own. The entire venture sometimes makes you wonder if it's worth the journey as it does tend to drag its feet in certain areas, but Zach Galifianakis' deadpan performance rings true with the story, making this odd morality tale one worth engaging with.
