B-movie ripoff of "Outbreak"; the "biosuits" look like they were stolen from the first installment of "Back To The Future" (the silver suits Doc and Marty wear at first when dealing with hazardous materials) and Boz's acting is atrocious, as usual.

You remember Brian Bosworth? He's a secret service agent trying to stop a corrupt corporation from unleashing it's new product which would cause a biological disaster. It's all pretty low budget and boring. Most of the film seemed to consist of Boz chasing or being chased in the forest. But most interesting is that the director of photography on this film is the son of Josef von Sternberg.

Ah, Virus. Fantastic to watch if it's 2am and you're sitting with some friends and nothing to do, and it's on TV. Don't spend any money on it, but by all means watch it. Just don't take it seriously.

FX whiz John Bruno (Terminator 2, True Lies) makes a dubious directorial debut here, juggling monsters that are icky but not scary; an out-of-control Donald Sutherland as the tug’s Ahabesque captain.
