Though it feels a bit drawn-out at times, an important, in-depth look at how manipulative it can be to enter prostitution in NYC.

From the "As If There Isn't Enough To Worry About" department of being a parent. Very disturbing/chilling.

Gritty and sad, this is a moving exploration of how sadly typical it is that many prostitutes get manipulated and exploited into the profession when they are only 12 or 13 years old. It does a great service in arguing that this exploitation is tantamount to a human rights abuse.

A look into the prostitution scene in New York, both a harsh and a emotional documentary.

Seychelle G 24 Dec 2009

Obviously, this is a disturbing topic. The documentary tells the stories of the prostitutes and shows footage confiscated from two pimps. The frustration of the mother going to the police captures the Kafka-esque. The stories are sad, but thankfully, the movie ends on a happy note.
