A good cast was wasted. Amy heckerling should have spent more time on the script instead of trying to cash in on vampire craze.

It was ok. Really felt like Clueless on the east coast with vampires, but... you know... not as charming as Clueless. It was entertaining though!

Reteaming with Silverstone, the alpha matchmaker of "Clueless," for Vamps, Heckerling uses the actress as the mouthpiece for her complaints about how dumb everyone is today. The writer-director's nostalgia feeds the laziest type of cultural critique: never piercing, just grumpy.

It's great to see Alicia Silverstone starring in something new but the film itself was a mess and quite cheesy. It may flatter other peoples' interest but definitely not mine.
