Andrew Douglas, who directed the 2005 "The Amityville Horror" remake, mishandles the standard noir as straightforward drama and gives it an unfortunate after-school-special vibe.

Incredible storyline and plot. Decent acting from low key actor Jamie blackley who certainly doesn't get near enough recognition or work. Would watch over and over again. Highly thought provoking and entertaining.
