Good story, appealing performances from Jesse Eisenberg and Eva Amurri. It does lack focus sometimes but overall the film works.

This suprised me by how good it was. This is a slow paced movie that some will find boring but i really liked it. A great movie. Grade: B+

Much better than I expected from Fred Durst's directorial debut. Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Ritter are both solid in their roles, you hate and love both a bit, Eisenberg for being SO awkward and timid and Ritter for being so crazy and yet charming. I was not a fan of some of the cinematography, it seemed muddy. Overall not a bad film, it just doesn't stick with you.

Watching Eisenberg in this film was a delight, and I consistently kept thinking of him as Zuckerberg in the Social Network. This film is just another example of how well he fits into the awkward-geek role so perfectly. Ritter gives a great performance too, as a troubled youth who takes a taste of the preppy university life. A good movie all around.
