I didn't realise this was even related to 'the fugitive' in any way until i just read the plot summary. I think it works as a film on its own and tommy lee jones steals the show.

Doesn't "touch" the Fugitive sequel in the least; it's worthwhile to watch Snipes at one of his best roles. Tommy Lee Jones pulls this one off as usual... still couldn't figure out why he preferred the ground to the top of a fast-tracked train. :)
