What an awesome film. Compare Jared Hess' films Napoleon Dynamite and Gentlemen Broncos, and you get this hilarious film.

Unicorn City is absolutely hilarious. Honestly one of the funniest films I have ever seen. I have been playing D&D since the 4th grade and have since taught my 10 and 12 year old boys to play. I also happen to love comedy films ala Monty Python or Princess Bride as well as fantasy books by the likes of Terry Pratchett and Piers Anthony. Unicorn city is the best of many worlds. It takes me back to an earlier time in my life. The script is really nicely done. The cinematography is great as well. The acting was also top notch. It's a must see for anyone into table top gaming, LARPing or CosPlay. Even if you're not into any of that, it's still worth the time for over an hour of great laughs. By Gregory D. (Bountiful Utah)

Completely hilarious. This is exactly what a genre movie should be like. A great mix of comedy, gaming mojo and a simple love story. Highly recommended!

Like Juno, My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding, and, yes (sigh), Napoleon Dynamite, Unicorn City is one of those Indie Sleepers you don't expect much from that really surprises you. I know nothing about gaming, but that didn't stop me from raucous guffaws at the antics of this crew. The characters in Unicorn City are hardcore gamers. I don't want to give too much away, but this film really grabs you in the funnybone, and refuses release until the final credits roll. From the music to the physical comedy, you'll love Clancy, and that centaur is something else...wonder if someone would cast him as a life-size plastic lawn ornament? I would so put him in my front yard!
