Uncertainty (2009)

Every choice has a consequence. But what if the flip of a coin could trigger two separate but parallel destinies? Bobby and Kate are a young New York couple at a crossroads whose lives are about to take very different directions. A seemingly ordinary July 4th is cleaved in two by the flip of a coin. One path leads them to gentle discoveries about family, loss and each other on a visit to Brooklyn, and the other plunges them into an urban nightmare of pursuit, suspense and murder in Manhattan.

takes some time to get your head around the movie...after which it gets interesting...not a bad movie..

Uncertainty never quite comes off big time but still carries the Indy time feel auspiciously. The inclusion of Joseph Gordon-Levitt creates a higher caliber experience and ultimately makes the film worth more than most Indy films that lack star power.

An odd metaphysical exploration that never stops feeling like a stunt.

Such an enjoyment to watch. A bit abstract and some parts just so simplistic. One half completely absurd and the other so typical. Just sit back and watch the relationship between these characters evolve before your eyes. A snapshot of a day in two contexts. Plus Joseph Gordon-Levitt just keeps getting more amazing.

I expected more from this movie TBH, but I did enjoy it and was glad I watched. Biased due to Joseph Gordon-Levitt though!
