Every choice has a consequence. But what if the flip of a coin could trigger two separate but parallel destinies? Bobby and Kate are a young New York couple at a crossroads whose lives are about to take very different directions. A seemingly ordinary July 4th is cleaved in two by the flip of a coin. One path leads them to gentle discoveries about family, loss and each other on a visit to Brooklyn, and the other plunges them into an urban nightmare of pursuit, suspense and murder in Manhattan.

Liked it, didn't love it. Made me want to re-watch Sliding Doors, except that movie doesn't star JGL. I'm biased, but he's better than any part of the movie, and he has more stamina than the story.

I'm going to have to agree with a lot of the reviews already on here. The movie had some strong points -- namely it was shot wonderfully and the acting from both JGL and Lynn Collins was very good. But the story was messy. It never really answered any of the questions raised in the film and parts of it didn't really make sense in the context of the whole film. I didn't hate it, but I was disappointed in that I was hoping for more. Lots of promise that it just didn't deliver on.

2 stories of the same people on the same day. just goes to show how different your life can be based on the decisions you make. You spend the 4th of July at your family BBQ or running for your life from an asian assassin after a cellphone. well-acted and interesting.

Has an interesting concept along with a terrific cast, stylish cinematography and interesting use of symbolism, but it's often rather bland and too low on imagination, credibility and wit.

After watching the trailer this looked really good. 2 storys of there lives by a flip of a coin. But after the start of the film it just got a bit boring and then didnt really end. Nice idea just needed something else to keep u watching.
