Twin Falls Idaho (1999)

Francis and Blake Falls are Siamese twins who live in a neat little room in a rundown hotel. While sharing some organs, Blake is always fit and Francis is very sickly. Into their world comes a young lady, who turns their world upside down. She gets involved with Blake, and convinces the two to attend a Halloween party, where they can pass themselves off as wearing a costume. Eventually Francis becomes really ill, and they have to be separated. They then face the physical and mental strains that come from their proposed separation.

I absolutely adore this movie. The only times I ever saw it was late night IFC and I would stay up until 2 a.m. so I could watch it. I can't find it anymore, and I haven't seen it played. This movie is beautiful.

A unique love story between siamese twin brothers and an ex-prostitute. Makes one re-think the boundaries of love. Powerful and sweet, this is a great movie.

It was incredibly graceful and well shot at first. I was hypnotized. At some point â?? maybe half way through â?? the movie got clumsy and a tiny bit heavy handed. It felt like they said what they had to say and realized they still had to finish the story.
