A great Ninja Turtles production. Fun to see the '80s Turtles toon ribbed like this.

Now, THIS is what I'm talking about! Good stuff! Unlike the boring, bland, and pretty-much-soulless theatrical CGI TMNT movie from 2007, this hand-animated Ninja Turtles event is 4Kids half-shell swan song as the license now switches over to Nickelodeon. And, the result, is a classic movie that just about does everything right. This movie is an awesome crossover event that combines the 2003 Ninja Turtles (the more serious ones from the modern animated series) with the 1987 Ninja Turtles (from the classic action-comedy animated series of old). There's a great plot, hilarious comedy, awesome animation, great continuity nods, and the movie never drags. And, a hilarious running fourth-wall-breaking gag had me practically rolling on the floor every time! Heck, most theatrical live-action action/adventure movies wish they were this good! I certainly hope for a DVD release in the future.

The 2003 Ninja Turtles find their 1987 originals captured and held hostage by Hun. The 2003 Turtles defeat Hun and the Purple Dragons and rescue their classic originals and escape to the modern Turtles Lair. Meanwhile the Technodrome from the 1987 TV series along with Shredder Krang Bebop and Rocksteady are together again and fight both versions of the turtles. starring Michael Sinterniklaas, Wayne Grayson, Sam Riegel, Greg Abbey, Darren Dunstan, Scottie Ray, Dan Green, Johnny Castro, Tony Salerno, Sebastian Arcelus, Load Williams and Bradford Cameron. directed by Roy Burdine and Lloyd Goldfine

I was a fan of the '80s turtles and this movie made them look like a joke. Always wanting pizza? I know they like pizza, but not every minute. And Leo was not that funny. He was the serious one of the group and this movie made him just as funny as Mikey. Then they run from a fight and get scared and huddle together. They would never do that especially Leo. I think they messed up on his character the most.
