This movie could have been epically great instead it teeters on good. The third act destroys what could have been a Linklateresque love story film. The two leads have good chemistry and you feel the passion build, but it goes from i hate you to sleeping together to i hate you to i love you forever so fast it lacks reality and depth. The writing of the 3rd act is puke inducing. I saw an advanced screening and you could feel the air come out of the room. By the time you get to the final scene which could have been a spectacular finish, but the balloon has been popped. Jason Sudeikis is funny when he gets out of bed and this movie allows him to be a comedic actor with a touch of depth, but in the end this movie can't overcome the cliche romance combined with the gassy finish. I don't remember being this disappointed by an ending in a long time.

So so film. NY's Rapold's review is spot on. This film doesn't deserve the 69% rating which lead me to watch it on tv. Relationship lacks dimension ,somewhat boring and leading man didn't do anything for me either.

Toughing and Genuine, there is a classic charm to this movie. The characters are quirky and humorous; the writing is cute and witty. The film is sure to be nostalgic for anyone who has a connection with nature and music. There were plenty of good laughs and heartwarming moments.

Beautifully shot and well-acted, but the romantic relationship at the movie's heart is unconvincing.
