Mari is a talented but insecure chef who dreams of running her own restaurant. She goes through a challenging professional time, taking orders from an authoritarian boss who inhibits her talent. One day she meets Caio, a charming young man who provides the conditions for her to realize her dream. Caio shows Mari that she should trust herself and open her own restaurant. The hints at Howard's past trauma were subtle enough to make me want to know more, and the film denies you that - which is a good choice.

Despite solid performances, the cast can't inject much sympathy into these characters or their self-indulgent plight.

Trust me is OK drama about a talent agent that has no luck until he meets this woman that will be a star. Clark Gregg directed and stars in this movie. C+ (2014)

Painful to watch at times, does gain some momentum midway but the rest just drags..

Interesting small film with some big stars. Child star agent tries to find the glory he found back in the day as a star himself. Really a pretty good story.
