If you look past the ideology aspect in this movie you will see that it would work perfectly in any other time in the future as a propaganda film that gets the job done.

Although it is the portrait of controversial times for humanity, Triumph of the Will is an amazing historical document both in its level of importance as in achieving the highest level of excellence in cinematographic technique.

Fascinating from an historical perspective, both on terms of world history and of the history of the cinema. I recommend watching it once without the commentary and once with. And keep in mind that I'm not usually a DVD extras kind of girl. :)

I am quite impressive that the cinematography and large statistical choreography of the Nazis did. No wonder of how impressive Hitler bring his speech to the Germans in that time. Even though I know that Nazi did many wrongs during their time, they made an impressive film.
