I think this film gets an unfair rap because the good inspector is hardly in it. They could have gone Game of Death à la Bruce Lee, but instead chose to rewrite into something very clever. If you sit back and try to think of it as a panther -not Clouseau- film, you will surely enjoy this installment that has an international flavour, all of Brooks' fantastic writing, and yes, even some Clouseauesque slapstick charm.

This is an okay flick thou it sadly misses the constant presence (not just on archive fotagge) of now sadly diseased Peter Sellers. Shouldn't have been made.

Sadly Peter Sellers did not survive to finish this movie, well handled. Good review of a great series. Hat's off!

Eehh...it wasn't that great. All it is, just old Sellers footage pieced together to make an all new movie. Also there is some unused footage pieced together so the director could create an all new storyline.
