A hip, gay man living the life in London gets worked up when his very religious Muslim mother comes to stay with him. A Very cute and light-hearted film. And an added bonus has to be Cary Grant's spirit giving Alim advice throughout the film.

To MacLachlan's credit, his impersonation of the indomitable is serviceable, although it must be said that the role is weirder than anything David Lynch ever dreamed up for him.
