Touch of Death (1988)

The financially strained and increasingly desperate, Lester Parsons concocts a brilliant get-rich-quick scheme; cruise the lonely hearts ads for rich women to fleece. Too bad then, that Lester's also a psychotic cannibal who enjoys mutilating these lovelorn souls, via his trusty chainsaw, and using their flesh for his dinner. When a copycat killer threatens to bring him down, Lester must do all he can to prevent this new killer's sloppy work from ruining them both.

One of my favorite late Fulci's. a lot of dark humor.

An interesting serial killer movie that despite some over-the-top and unbelievable gore, has a pretty decent story. Very character based, as we see the main character battling with his own conscience, and eventually losing. The problem I had with it, is that it couldn't stay focused. The story went from crazy serial killer, to almost slapstick comedy and back again. And the transition just didn't work.

If you're looking for a comedy that is truly black, or a slice and dice with lots of gooey goodness, Touch of Death will delight and disgust.

Another classic Fulci sucky movie but has lots of nice gore scenes such as a woman being fried in a microwave. All the women are purposly made to luck butt ugly though and all have nasty motives making no character at all worthy of sympathy which the film is seriously lacking. Worth a watch if youre a Fulci fan, best avoided if not.
