The film doesn’t seem particularly interested in who Turner is as an artist, or her creative inclinations and musical instincts.

So many documentaries cut away from performances, thinking we only want a glimpse of it to get the gist before shuttling on to the next thing. What a joy to be given the space to settle in and let Tina take you where she wants you to go.

Probably the best rock documentary I've ever seen. And the background story was just as amazing. And the editing. It was all there. Of course Tina is a force of nature. Nothing can stop her, except being reminded of the past and she pushes past that as well.
