A very dark, twisted story of a rapist killer who has Clint Eastwood hard on his tail. This hard a much darker feel to it than usual not just the subject matter but the physical look of the film. It lacks a little but kicks into in the final parts by no means a stand out Clint maybe due to him not directing it...a few nice scenes in New Orleans no masterpiece.

Cool Clint is back again, but this isn't a horrible movie to me its the worst of his detective films. He is after a serial killer that rapes and kills women. I didn't like the character as much as Dirty Harry and the plot was predictable and looked like Clint just sorta walked through this one.
