Tig isn't exactly groundbreaking. It's more of a well-organized vlog at times than a documentary, but what makes the film work in spite of its episodic simplicity is Notaro.

I thought it was going to be a little self-righteous, but it wasn't! Heartfelt and hilarious, such an inspiring story of an amazing comedian. Watched on Netflix at home, November 3, 2015.

Pretty interesting doc on stand up comedienne, Tig Notaro, who has gone through some very rough times but finds a way to move on and still make people laugh, despite her rough road. Worthy of a watch.

A sweet and lovely documentary about a truly admirable woman...

The directors of Tig, do a nice job showing the relationship between her art and her life, establishing Ms. Notaro's history as a comic and balancing it with behind-the-scenes shots of private moments with her family and of her fellow comedians.
