A touching and eye-opening docu-dramedy about the life of comedienne Tig Notaro. At times hilarious and heartbreaking, Notaro faced a debilitating illness, a break-up, the death of her mother, and a cancer diagnosis all in a matter of months. And it was her inspirational response that many called a "historic" moment in comedy that made her become a celebrity overnight. It's a great and uplifting documentary about going through Hell and back.

The title of this documentary is quite literal. The film represents the subject in almost a spiritual way. It's cool, endearing, extremely funny, subtle, heart felt, honest, and even sexy. It's such an easy, enjoyable watch and it keeps you captivated. Loved it. :)

This is a peek into Tig Notaro's life as she gets back to her life after her unbelievable string of tragedies. There are some heartbreaking (and unflinching) moments, but a lot of humor too and it's really nice to see her transition from "there is nothing funny about this" to getting back on stage. (However, this is not a 'my cancer-journey' documentary.) They use a good mix of interviews, recordings from shows, and footage of her with her friends and family. Highly recommended for Tig fans.

Pretty interesting doc on stand up comedienne, Tig Notaro, who has gone through some very rough times but finds a way to move on and still make people laugh, despite her rough road. Worthy of a watch.
