An incredible gratifying experience. This film is very affecting with the anxiety, as strange as it sounds. Because we have an eagerness to do whatever we want without see the world around us and be aware that it could explode in any second. All the performances are great, considering that most are unknow faces. Andrew Garfield is getting an Academy Award nomination for sure and I hope that it won't the only nomination for this film. The script and the editing get a refined harmony to make it very interesting and entertaining. The musical scenes are well, but not perfect like other films, and considering that it has the require elements for tell a great story, the cinematography and the visual effects are not perfect too.

Andrew Garfield stars in 'Hamilton' creator Lin-Manuel Miranda's directorial debut as Jonathan Larson, the musical genius behind 'Rent' and his struggle writing it on his way to his artistic breakthrough along with the support from his friends, girlfriend, roommate, etc. I enjoy the occasional odd musical here and there, and with the talent involved in this one, I knew great things would be in store, but man I certainly didn't expect Garfield to possess the singing chops that he does! His lead performance here is incredible! His singing and Miranda's songs are so much fun to listen to and are easily the highlight of this film! The story does feel a bit generic and 'been there done that', especially in terms of musicals, but this is mostly offset by a charming cast (Vanessa Hudgens and Robin de Jesus are also worth mentioning for their supporting turns), reliably clever and inventive tunes from Miranda's genius mind, and a somewhat formulaic story that's still worth rooting for and that will make you want to stand up and cheer by the end of it.

I’m not sure tick, tick…Boom! is for everyone. People who like Rent/Larson and musical fans in general will love it.

Andrew Garfield is just amazing. Oscar deserving movie. The soundtrack and the acting by all the cast is beautiful.
