The movie was great to me and my husband really made us laugh alot! It's slapstick humor we all need more laughs and this did it for us thanks for another good one Mellisa McCarthy you are hilarious!!!

Despite the best efforts of McCarthy, and a winsome Spencer as her sidekick, Thunder Force is more like Shazam! Lite. It wants us to laugh at genre tropes, but this crude and unoriginal dreck is just comedy Kryptonite.

It’s always a shame when a group of talented humans get together and deliver something that comes across as a halfhearted effort, even if they poured their blood, sweat and tears into it.

I don't understand why this movie is getting bad reviews. It was hilarious. I laughed so hard so many times. This is an action comedy and it fits the genre perfectly. You aren't here for storytelling or million dollar explosions, you are watching this to laugh. Melissa and Octavia outdid themselves. This was the best movie I've seen in a long time. Y'all got zero chill. So many reviews pointing out the relationship between the director and Melissa as if that factoid adds substance to their review.

The best part of the movie is when they're kids right at the start. It goes downhill after that. The acting is unbelievable bad. Even Octavia Spencer doesn't believe in this movie, and she's in it. Melissa McCarthy is just being herself...again, but if you thought Spencer was a good actor you won't after you watch this mess.
