I cannot find any amusement on an obese person trying to make us laugh (let alone two of them). Melissa needs help to regain a healthy body, so does the other chick that plays the scientist. The visuals are nice and the dialogue is acceptable for a family movie on Netflix. But It is not funny to laugh at obese people, in the same way it is not funny to laugh at blind or disabled people. Melissa please seek help. All the best to you.

Its leading ladies are in fine form, as always, and they're backed by some lively performers. It's the story that struggles to come through, along with a reluctance to just let loose in every way possible.

It's pretty bad when a movie is so predictable that it leaves no sort of amazement or even entertainment for the viewer. Melissa McCarthy is just getting way too type cast. This is like the 4th or 5th movie she's done in the past decade and her character hasn't changed or evolved whatsoever. Same old humour. Same old predictable story line. She's such a great actress with so much potential, yet we get a train wreck like THUNDER FORCE! This film was all I needed to determine that McCarthy's career may very well take a nose dive if she doesn't start dipping her feet into some untried waters! She's getting older, and we can see her aging in this film. She's gotta try something new.
