This Is It offers a raw and endearing sketch of a genius at work.

This documentary was absolutely fantastic! I enjoyed watching behind the scenes and the creativity of the producers, set designers, etc. Watching Michael was electrifying to me. Many of the movie goers that were in the theater with me, often clapped after they saw various scenes. I saw all ages at the movie and no one---absolutely no one left until the lights came back on at the very end. Everyone clapped and cheered and I saw a lot of emotion. I can't wait to purchase the DVD.

This movie was alright, and I am aware that it was not intentionally made with the intention of becoming a movie, but I feel like it might have been. If it makes any sense, I anticipated it to be louder than it was. The final 20 minutes or so, when there was more Michael and less of everyone else and everything else, were THE BEST part of the film. It was interesting to see what goes into a MAJOR event like his, and I'm sure it would have been AMAZING to witness the completed product. It was also admirable to observe his kindness and how he provided opportunities for his show's participants to shine.
