This is the best coming of age film in the last few years. A million times better than that hack 1998 movie people seem to like. Characters that feel more real, too, instead of allegorical blandness.

Gives a great insight into the 'skinheads' era, while not trying to gloryify them, Meadows gives them depth and character instead of portraying them as just 'mindless thugs'. 5-Star Film.

Heartbreaking and an amazing masterpiece. This is what happening to people All over the world. This is England. We all must make the right choice and change.

Dammit, I can't make this thing give it the full 5 stars. Oh, there we go, got it. This is a perfect movie. I could watch it over and over. It has the "ring of truth" that come from insightful self-reflective art but is totally entertaining and funny in parts. This is my favorite movie by Meadows to date.
