Boring - watch something else. I'm not going to go very deep here because I almost fell asleep and didn't bother watching the second half. Essentially two teen-misfits spent some time stealing pushbikes and trying to stay ahead of a pushbike riding copper (really?), while trying to find some mysterious treasure ( a lost bale of cocaine). Some might find their family backgrounds tell a tale but for me it was just misfit parents=misfit kids. Nope. Not for me.

Despite its convenient Hollywood ending, The Young Offenders remains defiantly home-grown, grass roots cinema; and is all the more enjoyable for it.

It is kinda funny, and has a wacky ending that is entertaining at least.

One of the best, surprise comedies I've seen in years. Fab that it's now also a series on the BBC, with a second series commissioned.

Enchanting to say the least, this jolly 'ol Irish film put an unexpected smile upon my face. I always welcome and cherish these types of films the best I can as it uplifts and clears everyone's minds. I don't think it would've been possible to chose any better oddball characters than the two they acquired whom were undoubtably the key component to the philosophy of the film.
