You don't find many scary movies that have an actual story line, but this one had a clever and abnormal plot! I loved it!

Love the stylistic horror flicks and Carpenter definitely has a style that shines through in this one. It was interesting and action packed enough that it kept you watching and the cast was perfect for it. It was a little soft for horror and Carpenter could definitely have stepped it up a bit but it's a decent movie all in all and a good one to add to the collection. Heard is one of the best actresses to make her way in to mainstream in a long time so everything she does, she does well and she carries the movie.

I was kinda weary about this movie at first, considering the first time I heard of it was when I saw it at Wal-Mart for fairly cheap, but I'm very glad I watched it. Basically, take Sucker Punch and remove the cool action sequences and add in an actual sense-making story line and give the job to John Carpenter to direct and you've got yourself a movie! It wasn't really that original of a story, but it definitely kept my attention tuesday whole time. If you have Netflix, definitely queue this one up. If not, pick it up cheap from Wal-Mart or something, but definitely check it out.

John Carpenter has made his first unintentional comedy.
