Crítico, objetivo e ainda singelo, constata algo que, de certa forma, todos nós latino-americanos já sabíamos: "os ventos do Norte não movem moinhos". Contudo, é maravilhoso perceber, por meio desse grande registro, que nossa alma já não se encontra mais tão cativa... Marcantes depoimentos e ótima trilha sonora!

I think what scared me the most about this was the thought that there are people in positions of power like CIA Chief Duane Clarridge. A very interesting doco, but now I think I need to go watch a comedy or something to lighten the mood!

I stuck this on late one night and after a few beers expecting to fall asleep and catch the ending another time. It didnt quite work that way. John Pilger's documentary is a real eye-opener and a damning portrait of the American government's treatment of those countries south of Northern USA. It grips completely and never lets up throughout. A real jaw-dropper!
