Everything that`s wrong with too many "indie" movies. Irrational, absurd behavior/choices from the characters, weird, robotic dialogue that sounds like aliens in human suits talking to each other, artsy, lingering, predictable shots of nature and the back of people`s heads, and generally pretentious. Only watched 1 hour but doubt it can get better if the rest is anything like it. Will edit once I catch it again on tv. What a waste of 2 great actresses.

Writer-director M. Blash's sophomore film is ethereal and trippy, told less in scenes than in oblique snatches, not unlike the experience of emotional paralysis. This approach grows wearying.

Probably best to dissuade the so-bad-it’s-good crowd: There’s nothing here to laugh at with the communal glee of a "Rocky Horror" or "The Room"; only a spectacularly bad composite shot of a fire-fighting plane induces any real giggles.
