One of the finest, tensest thrillers ever filmed, Clouzot's devilish misanthropy makes for electric cinema. Fights it out with The Godfather, Citizen Kane and Chinatown for the Best Film Ever Made title.

"Wages of Fear" is definitely one of my favorite foreign films. The tenseness of it held in the hands of a few characters really propells the interest of the audience. Great French film.

One of the most nerve shreddingly suspenseful films I've ever seen. A misanthropic masterpiece. I had bitten my fingernails off by the end of it.
