I like cats and pizza... So best to use this film as a cautionary tale and keep the apartment clean. Objectively, I think the film is successful depicting what Jerry's mental illness was like. He's likeable, although does several unforgivable things. I'd rank this in the same genre as "May", although not as perfect as that. Nonetheless, if quirky indie comedy needs a twinge of horror for you, this film fulfills that role nicely.

You will either love this or hate it. If you love it , all the dark humor and quirkiness will apeal and its sublime. Ryan Reynolds gives one of his best performances and you can see why he was picked for the role of Deadshot. Anna Kendrick deserves a mention too and deserves to get some more leading lady roles and a well done to everyone involved in this film as you all deserve a round of applause

Seriously this is Ryan Reynolds BEST acting job of his career! No I'm not kidding. This is one strange odd weird violent disturbing funny film! I don't recall ever seeing anything like this! Dark and humorous but fun. Definitely not for everyone. This showcases a whole different Ryan Reynolds that we've never seen on screen before. Highly Recommended to those who can handle this great movie!

Not like anything I expected from watching the trailer. Reynolds delivers a stellar performance that will have you reluctantly "rooting" for Jerry for a majority of the movie or at least until the emotional tone hits its darkest period towards the end

The Voices is a terrific black comedy that shows that Ryan Reynolds can be a great choice for Deadpool. It's so weird to involve the director of Persepolis and the writer of Paranormal Activity 2 in the ska movie, but it really works here as it's directed well and written well too. Ryan Reynolds is terrific in this and did a lot of variety to his voice which is really cool as I didn't know that he voiced the animal characters. Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick are great in this, and the humor in this is odd, but is hilarious. It has a balance of mixture between dark comedy, horror, and even drama which is unexpected. It does make you feel a bit sorry for the guy for what he has done even though he's a bit crazy. It does have a lot of disturbing moments in it, and the ending is one of the most oddest moments I have seen in a long time, but it really works with the tone of it. The Voices is a surprisingly excellent movie that is a terrific first American movie for Marjane Satrapi.
