What lifts this trenchant dramedy out of the ordinary are Krieger's ear for dialogue and Adam Scott's breakthrough performance as a family's black sheep seemingly intent on earning that bad rap.

Fantastic performance by Adam Scott - brilliant acting. Strong writing throughout despite some weak plot elements. Overall a very enjoyable dark comedy.

If there ever was a disfunctional family this is it. I think Brittany Snow looks a little overly goth with the hair dye. It has a strange and yet happy, sort of, ending. I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone, but if you watch a lot of movies it's pretty interesting.
