The Valet (2006)

Caught by tabloid paparazzi with his mistress Elena, a famous and beautiful fashion model, billionaire Pierre Levasseur tries to avoid a divorce by inventing a preposterous lie. He uses the presence of a passerby in the photo to claim to his wife that it's not him Elena is seeing but the other man, one François Pignon. Pignon is a modest little man who works as a parking valet. To make the story convincing, Elena has to move in with Pignon.

Extremely entertaining, wound-up farce. And Alice Taglioni is a bombshell. Whoo.

I rented this because I really like Gad Elmaleh and he was very cute, sweet and charming in this film. Which is essentially the gist of the movie. Fluffy, light, cute, not too deep.

Quirky & Light. Superb comedic acting from Gad Elmaleh and you just can't go wrong with Daniel Auteuil. A few gaps in the storyline, but it's a light-hearted comedy that anyone with a sense of humor can follow. It's so much better with subtitles, but even people who hate them won't be disappointed; I mean, funny is funny, no matter what language you speak.

Daniel Auteuil ( one of my all time favourite actors) along with "Gad-he's funny" Elmaleh create a great + classic comic French farce bound to please. Loved it + the French hottie in it, too.
