One of the new movies that will really make you think if you let it. The problem is most don't want to think. I think this film makes a very powerful statement on Compassion and its limits, on understanding and empathy. It will take you on a morbid sobering trip if you let it. I do think the style the film was shot in is over used currently, that being said there is no other way this film could have been shot.

Definitely well acted. Pretty standard stuff here. Not ground broken after watching this. But I love how Wes Bentley comes full circle in his career and walks around with a camera in this flick. Jokes aside, he was fantastic as always. I'd love to see him in a rom/com at some point. But the award for best performance in the film goes to Mark Borkowski. Where did this guy come from? Amazing performance. Overall, a decent flick. Good rental.

although wes bentley's performance was strong, the movie loses out on originality, or any kind of suspense, because it feels like it's all been done before

Really made you sympathize with the serial killer and question the filmmaker - precisely the point, I believe.

The version I saw was called "A Perfect Witness" like everything in this film they couldn't even decide on a proper title.
