Excellent documentary. Not knowing a whole lot about the situation, I watched it as a parent of a US Marine thinking the family just was having a hard time letting go. I couldn't have been more wrong. I have never trusted our military and I now have first hand experience with them as they have lied to my son. This film reiterated everything I have ever felt about our government and our military. Very sad indeed. My heart goes out to the entire Tillman family.

When I was about finishing to watch The Tillman Story ( A documentary film) I thought, "Oh God, ending of The Dark Knight was so bullshit!"

I saw this at Sundance Film Festival one year ago to this day. It comes out on DVD next week. Do yourself a favor and put it at the top of your "queue" now. If you think you know the whole story, like I did- you probably do not. Learn about the "anti-myth", the inspiring family....and how far our government will go to create a martyr to suit its needs.... 4.8 stars.
