I LOVE this movie. It's campy and hilarious. A must see for any B-movie fan.

So horrifically bad, on about 5 different levels, that it makes for absolutely riveting viewing. The heads of Ray Milland and Rosie Grier on one body, riding a motorcycle? Pure, utter, terrible, genius.

Better than i expected, sure it had it's bad parts, but it was pretty funny at times, even just the premise made me laugh.

The Thing With Two Heads helps to signify the predicament that Ray Milland was in at this time in his career. His career as a serious dramatic and well-respected actor seemed to be over, and he chose to do some not so great movies that were really beneath him. Such is the case with this one. In truth, it isn't altogether terrible, but it's really not that great. The idea and the visuals are hilarious more than anything, and the movie stops being a movie about a man with someone else's head on his shoulder about halfway through and de-evolves into Smokey and the Bandit. Not that that's totally a bad thing because it winds up being a lot of fun. A great movie it isn't, but if you're into really trash B movies with a lot of camp factor that are trying to deliver a social message, then this particular movie is bound to be up your alley.

This is the second movie in the MGM Midnite Movies Double Pack, and of the two this one is the best, matter of fact its a riot. Put out by American International and Directed by Lee Frost the same Director and made within a year of the movie The Incredible Two Headed Transplant. Of the two this one is best. Making movies in the 1970 time frame was much different today, the reference to blacks in this film wouldn't stand a chance among politically correct crowd today. A dieing doctor who is working on transplanting the head and brain on a bad body to a good body is dying and wants to have his head transplanted, he doesn't like blacks and will not let them work for him in medical field, well his staff transplants his head on a black mans body, when he comes to it makes for a funny and enjoyable film. 4 stars for this one.
