awful comedic horror with poorly executed fx, a gorilla which is so obviously a man in a hairy costume and a 25 minute police car chase. Boring drivel and as for the "oh happy day" singalong at the end - where did that come from??

The first 45 minutes are like a medical drama - except for the 2-headed gorilla. After the transplant, every shot of the 2-headed guy is god awful hilarious. No social commentary, just an insane premise put to film.

Ray Milland's head stars as a bigoted doctor whose is kept alive by being grafted onto a big, black convict. Sort of "The Defiant Ones" meets "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" but I think it also wants to be "Smokey and the Bandit." It's bad.

Ray Milland is a rich guy in poor health. In order to extend his life, he arranges to have his head grafted onto the shoulder of healthy young athlete Rosey Grier. Need I say more? A must for lovers of weird and campy films.

30% setup, 50% car chases/crashes, and 20% actual plot development. But transplanting a white bigot's head onto a black man in 1972? Priceless.
