"Sparks" Roberts and Captain Cogswell are brothers whose relationship is fractured by a long-standing feud involving rivalries over boats and women. The life-threatening danger of the storm acts as a catalyst for the brothers, forcing them to reconcile and work together to survive the maritime disaster.
