Chul-soo is one of Korea's best intelligence agents: he can accomplish any given mission. One day, a mysterious explosion takes place in Seoul. Regrettably, the subtitles fail to capture Sul and Moon's witty wordplay — but their snappy, prickly chemistry is obvious to all.

The Spy is about Chul-soo, a spy who has a very big problem. He may be a hot shot at work, but at home he's that husband who is always on business trips and leaves his wife victim to the gossipy friends and family. This True Lies (1994) like spy story is about a husband who has to balance his work and home life, and when they intertwine things get very hard for him. The movie itself isn't as good as True Lies, but it manages to stay entertaining while delivering some funny parts and action set pieces. I feel the movie could have used some more hand to hand fight scenes, but it's a breezy action comedy that isn't too hard to consume.
