While it's not my favorite superhero movie, it is definitely high on the list.

What Superhero comedies should be. James Gunn's writing is smart, funny and irreverant.

Definitely one of my favorite superhero movies. Very funny with lots of cursing and no action.

A super hero movie with no budget and no special effects really to speak of. So why would it be rated positively? Instead of looking at what it isn't - enjoy what it is. It shows super heroes as just every day people - but just a little more "special" - and these guys know they are not the "A team" -and are actually the 6th or 7th best team of super hero's out there. The only super hero movie where the super heroes are pretty much just ordinary Joes. They are as petty and vain as anyone else and have the same types of issues and insecurities. This is there job and the best they can hope for is a line of action figures - priceless. Not great but a definite kick. Good double feature with Mystery Men or even Kick Ass. Good stupid fun with that little something Special...

The movie was special. It was cheesy, obviously trying to make fun of all the movies superhero movies. The best part is the action figures. Other than that it is not great.
