As interesting as the story is, the movie is clumsy and drags.

It also reminds me of the political situation in Thailand... Kuomintang vs Communists, Red vs Yellow... Different opinions are found everywhere. We can not live together if we don't accept that. I'm so in love with Soong Ching Lin in this movie.

Besides learning about our own history, the legendary life of the three sisters was highly amazing! They were women of the very time of the contemporary China!

The music was lovely. A beautiful yet tragic story. The acting was superb as well.
