Not a bad film at all, had a little cliche here and there but I think it was way more entertaining and less disappointing , it has a very interesting progression of events and cool photography. Gladly surprised to see young actors doing such a good job, specially Trevor Matthews ( who I really thought to be a European guy) and Cindy Sampson.

it was somewhat difficult to follow due to the fact that the people were speaking another language and there were no captions on the screen. that or else it was english and i just couldnt understand it with the accents... :S I hafta say that when the girl became all evil and demonic, it was actually kinda freaky. nice use of makeup and effects. overall the movie was ok but not quite worthy of 4 stars ...

It seems some people don't "get" this movie from some reviews I've read. It does start out kind of predictable. The villagers do speak Polish and there are no subtitles. But maybe the point is to make the viewer assume they know what's going on here: weird cultists sacrificing unlucky travelers to a strange god whose shrine is in the woods. Right? Right...or maybe not.

I was a little disappointed by the terrible green screen work and some of the acting, but then I was intrigued by the powerful plot and original ideas. It is not certainly near perfect or in any means close to great, but it is one of the best horror movies in the past couple of years.
