Should be up for Oscars in a multitude of categories, none bigger than Blake Lively and certainly one of the best water films of Our Time.

It has only one situation and it was very crucial for the maker of this movie to make it good. They didn't fail anyway. The shallows is a very interesting suspense movie because of its survival theme that can actually help most of young minds on how to deal with unwieldy situations. The effects are amazing and the twist is really nice, the story has only one plot but overall, it was really good.
