More a study of how Vogue works than an insight into the tour de force that is Anna Wintour, who still remains somewhat elusive. Fascinateing and full of colourful characters, the one that shines out most is Grace Coddington - who gives you faith that Vogue is still the hub of creative talent and cutting edge styl e- even if it is Anna that makes all the decisions. The perfect partnership. Funny and insightful ifa little shallow.

Highly entertaining and fascinating look at the fashion world and how an issue (THE issue) of "Vogue" comes together. If you're looking for more of Wintour's "The Devil Wears Prada" doppelganger, you'll be disappointed. I found her to be decisive, assertive, reserved (in the extreme), and very good at what she does. I am in awe of the artistic genius that is Grace Coddington!

I have ALWAYS bought the September issue of Vogue, as it is a MUST in the fashion world, whether you follow fashion or not (I wear what I want) but the documentary not only shows a woman running a tight ship, sure of herself and absolutely not the monster we all thought she was after "The devil wears Prada". The woman is decisive, it's her job, and does it perfectly, which is why she has been there 20 years, and is THE fashion industry biggest influence. I was also very impressed by Grace Coddington, a real artist, with a flair for fashion editing that is genius. Now if I could just get into one of these Vogue accessory closets... :-)
