Creepy as hell, with a great ending. Wish they made more movies like this nowadays. Loved it.

Still creeps me out, especially seeing Jerry Orbach and his mustache. Blech! The scene where John Carradine comes out from behind the door and gets his nose sliced off is still horrifying to this day. And real freaks always freak me out so the end is extremely gratifying.

A great cast including young Christopher Walken and Jeff Goldblum, as well as John Carridine.... but these few are all very minor characters with next to no screen time! Most of it feels like a poor man's Rosemary's Baby, but it starts going in its own direction towards the end. It's worth watching for the ending, which gets pretty insane and *SPOILER* has a bunch of real life "freaks" for some reason. There is also cool part where a creepy old man gets his nose cut off.

Dated and hilarious Lucio Fulci-ish answer to the 70s Satanic Panic genre of films. Features actual deformed people and circus freaks as monsters of hell in the final moments of the film. Surprisingly raunchy and weird cult favorite.

An incredible supporting cast (Walken? Goldblum? Meredith? In the same film together?!?) that is utterly wasted in the service of a fairly substandard horror story. There is one terrifically creepy sequence, but beyond that (and the aforementioned cast), this one has little to offer.
