Though it takes awhile to gain momentum, the end is effectively creepy and astonishingly disturbing.

Dated and hilarious Lucio Fulci-ish answer to the 70s Satanic Panic genre of films. Features actual deformed people and circus freaks as monsters of hell in the final moments of the film. Surprisingly raunchy and weird cult favorite.

Alright Horror flick about a woman basically being recruited to guard the gates of Hell. The most amazing this is the cast, they've got a ton of recognizable faces.

Someone sold the lofty goal of riding the Omen/Exorcist satan wave to a Hollywood studio. They put a huge chunk of cash together to get a strong cast. And then spent more money on a huge bag of coke and turned out a horrible piece of shit. Christina Raines is very beautiful, I just wish she could act. But even the old-timey Oscar winners couldn't save a movie about the gate to Hell being locked away in a Brooklyn apartment building. Location scout: Genius. Casting: A saint. Script writer: Douche.
